2. An end to the Afghan war I like becuse it will bring are troops home and their families dont have to wory about them coming home they will be home.
3. A higher minimum wage I dont like because we are already in debt and we don't need to be any deeper.
Ok, a higher minimum wage doesn't come from the government. The government just tells businesses the lowest they can pay their employees, which won't make the government worsen the deficit.

DeleteThe higher minimum wage would help the government. They would be taxing more money that the people earn. The only down side of this is that the prices of items that you buy in stores would increase to make up for the extra amount the employers are paying.

I like the higher minimum wage idea. That will probably help the 55% of Americans that got new jobs that pay less than their old ones.
I don't really know about immigration reform though. How are going to have tighter border control if we allow illegal immagrants easy ways of becoming citizens. I think they should just go through the process that normal immagrants do, to make things simpler

2) I like the balanced approach to deficit reduction. We really need to get out of debt but it is going to take time.
3) The higher minimum wage would be nice but i think that it would cause more unemployment because the business owners would probably have to fire some of there employees because they can't afford to have them.
I agree! I'm sure some businesses already have troubles making sure all employees are getting payed so the higher the minimum wage is, the less likely the unemployment rate will go down.

ReplyDeleteB)I like the creation of a Trade Enforcement Unit, push for increase in student aid, and announcement of Defense Department's clean energy initiative. I think these three will benefit out country alot.
C) I don't like urge for immigration overhaul, call for extension of mandatory school attendance age, and commitment to increase job training. First we don't need to guard our boarder more we need to better process with legalization and work permit/permits, two I don't think the age for kids dropping out should go up, I think there shouldn't be a choice for dropping out and finally why ur more money to train people who aren't qualified we should help those who are and give them better application to the position.

I like the thought of ending the war. We need to bring our boys home, families need to be reunited not dimolished.
I don't think that the higher minimum wage is a very good idea, because the places that dont make much cant pay that and will stop hireing.

I think ending the war in Afganistan is a good idea. Families need to be reunited and enjoy time together. Afganistan needs to be able to protect themselves and not need support for other countries.
I don't think that a higher minimum wage is a good thing. Many small businesses won't be able to pay $9 an hour for someone to work for them.
I agree with the higher minumum wage not happening because it will hurt alot of people and will take away jobs.

2)i thought raising the minimum wage was a good idea it ould help out a lot of people and there families
3)coming with srticter gun laws will not stop the number of gun violence . if criminals need a gun there other ways to get what the need . the only thing the gun law can do is set back gun owners on purchasing more guns . why must gun owners be punished for the wrong doings of gun violence

3). I think bring troops home is one of the best. I dont see what we are accomplishing over there anyways. It would make families much happier.
4). if we raise the minimum wages it will increase the debt and people could get fired because the company isnt making enough money to pay everyone $9 an hour.

3) i liked the ending of the war in Afganistan was the best one. obviously many people would be happy to see there family and for it to be over.
4) i didnt like a passionate call for gun control. seriously just leave the guns alone, and do something about the people that did it.
