Education Cuts Cause Outrage (Blog #9)

"Rallies and walkouts are largely peaceful, but 150 are arrested in Oakland as a freeway is blocked. The demonstrations are part of a nationwide 'Day of Action for Public Education'", according to the Los Angeles Times. (Click on the link below for the story)

    2.) Because they were already high so they are even higher now. It is making it harder to pay their tuitions.

  2. 1 b/c of the $1 billion in budget cuts to the nations university system appeared to have started protests because they say the educations is more important than some other stuff.
    2 says the reducing students class options and increasing their expenses
    3 the students were going crazy and stopped rush hour traffic
    4 yes b/c less people will be able to afford college

    2) Because they want there kids o have the best education they can.
