Obama and his administration had planned to start pulling troops from iraq during his first 100 days as President. I believe that Obama will eventually start pulling troops but I dont know if it will work or not, Im not the President...
ReplyDeleteI forgot to add my opinion!!!!!
ReplyDelete2. My opinion is I think he's plan may work if everything goes according to plan otherwise it might not work.

ReplyDeleteI do not think any of his plans will work at all. His plans are completely stupid.

ReplyDeleteI don't believe any of his plans will work, because the recession will have to work itself out, and only time can fix it.

ReplyDeleteobama or should i say Mr. president wants to set up a new contact group for talking to and communicating to iran and afghanistan.
ReplyDeletei think that this plan may fail. if it does work it should allow us to bring back our troops and it will hopefully help these countries become more of a industrialized place instead of a third world country.
"The United States, which suspects Iran is secretly building a nuclear weapons program, has called on Tehran to halt the enrichment program."to cnn.com
ReplyDelete"Pakistan has nuclear weapons and has fought several wars during the past 60 years with India, which also has nuclear weapons. Finally, some observers say Pakistan is on the verge of an economic crisis that could render it a failed state."I think that will be unseccessful because of the obmama want to do different things
America has not been what you would exactly call friends, the nuclear suspicions have been freaking American diplomats out for about a decade. Now they want to know if they are really building a nuclear weapons program.
ReplyDeleteI think that if they are building nuclear weapons that they should be truthful, and not be cowards about it.
Relations between the United States and Iran have been further pushed in recent years over Iran's nuclear program. The United States suspects Iran is secretly building a nuclear weapons program. ithink these will work because if we dis rupt their new porgram we will when.
ReplyDeleteObama called the instability and increase in extremism in the region. i think if we kill the extremists that we won't have problems.
They say that the US is ready to begin diplomatic engagement. I don't know for sure if these plans will work or not. It could be succesful or it might not be. I think it could work though.
ReplyDelete1.) On Cnn it says: "On January 27, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said missile strikes in Pakistan would continue in an effort to root out al Qaeda members. Gates said the strikes will continue to target terrorists who have based themselves across the border from Afghanistan.
ReplyDeleteDuring the presidential campaign, Obama said that he thought that a nuclear-armed Iran would be "unacceptable" and that he would help mount an international effort to prevent the country from acquiring nuclear weapons."
2.) I seriously don't know if his plans are going to work out. Because in the last copule of years none of the american government's decisions or plans worked out too good. So I really don't know if its going to work...I personaly wish we wouldn't have to worry about conflicts like in the Iran or Pakistan.
1.) Obama has stated in his press conference from Monday, February 9th; "my national security team is currently reviewing our existing Iran policy, looking at areas where we can have constructive dialogue, where we can directly engage with them", talking about Iran. This means that they are trying to get on the same terms as Iran so they will eventually be able to discuss things and get things worked out.
ReplyDeleteAs for Pakistan, the president there is trying to get a new government set up so people don't go around killing other people for no reason at all. Obama has said that he would like to be a partner to Pakistan's president and help him along the way.
2.) Well I think his approach to talking things out with Iran is smart. I'm not too sure if it will work though. It will definatly take a while if it does!
I also think its smart to aide Pakistan so they know we are friends that just want to help and not be bombed later by them. =]
1.)Obama is saying that the U.S. is ready to begin diplomatic engagement. This is a dramatic departure from the approach of the Bush administration and represents a renewed recognition of the importance of diplomacy as a foreign policy tool.
ReplyDelete2.) in my opinion i think these new plans will succeed and at anything they will atleast maybe bring shallow peace.
1) "Barack Obama adminestration confronts a challenging set of international crises and policy issues, ranging from Iraq, Afganastan, and terrorism to the rise of future powers."
ReplyDelete2) I dont know how this plan the adminisration has will work but i hope it works the way they want it to because we need our economy and other things straightned out as quickly as possible.
Obama has four main points for his plans for the Middle Eastern countries of Pakistan and Iraq. They are:
ReplyDelete1. Give them money
2. Secure their borders
3. Put nice people in power
4. Leave
Nice nice not to sound like a conservative or anything but we really can’t afford to build up these countries economically. We need to support America before going in to save the world; we can’t be there for everyone even if they do have oil. I think Obama needs to come back down to earth and realize that he is the present of AMERICA!!!! NOT IRAQ or ANY OTHER country. We need to get out and focus on making our boarders safe!
1) obama wants to start pulling out troops asap. as in now,but he hasn't started yet.
ReplyDelete2)i dont think his plans will be successful simply for the fact that it's too early in his presidency to be doing drastic things. he needs to wait and get aquainted to his position before he starts trying to make radical changes.
